Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a centre located in Sri Lanka that takes care of orphaned elephants. It is located in Pinnawala area in Rambukkana town in Kegalle district.

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is managed by the Department of Zoology, renders a great service to elephants. Not only disabled elephants but also orphaned baby elephants are taken care of at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
The Elephant Orphanage is located near the Ma Oya, so elephants are bathed twice a day. Foreign tourists most like to watch the elephants bathe. They are tempted to feed sugarcane and watermelon to bathing elephants.
